PhD in Sociology by the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon, 2010. Doctoral thesis title: “The building of the Portuguese-speaking Community from the old imperial center. Micro-communities and practices of lusophony.” Approved with Very Good by unanimity. Distinction and Honours by majority.
 
Degree in Sociology the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon, 2002. Dissertation title: “The Lusotropicalism and Lusophony: two poetic versions of the Portuguese National Identity?”. Final Grade: 16 Values – Good with Distinction.
 
Work Experience:
Since 2012 Organizer, coordinator and professor in the course “Opportunities and challenges in the domain of cultural productions in Portuguese language” in the scope of the Summer School 2012 - Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon.
 
Since 2011 Organizer, coordinator and professor in the course “Opportunities and misadventures in the Portuguese speaking space” in the scope of the Summer School 2011 - Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the New University of Lisbon.
