Eva Patrícia Duarte Gonçalves completed the master degree in Sociology of Knowledge, Education and Society (grade of 16) in Human and Social Sciences Faculty of New University of Lisbon, in December of 2010. Is currently conducting her PhD thesis about the school and family interaction in a comparative analysis of politics, strategies, practices and scholar results, under the orientation of Professor Doutor David Justino and Professora Doutora Maria de Lurdes Rodrigues.
She started to work as an intern in the human resources department in TAP Portugal. And then developed some studies and investigation-action projects in educational sociology and citizen in social solidarity institutions like the Secretariado Diocesano de Lisboa da ONPC and the Movimento SOS Racismo, where most of her professional experience. She is professional trainee since 2007 in a private professional training school and is now currently integrated in an investigation team called Project ESCXEL – Network of Schools of Excellence, since May of 2009, in CesNova of FCSH/UNL, coordinated by Professor Doutor David Justino
The master dissertation written in educational sociology field entitled Parental involvement in children scholar paths in Segmented Schools and in Integrated Schools – the influence on the students Scholar Results, will be published during the year of 2011 (being edited and printed).
